The insula 17 is located in the north west top of The Regio 1, located in the southern part of the ruins, and it has been only partially excavated; currently it is characterized by the presence of 3 houses partially excavated and a workshop. The work focused on the safety of embankments, the consolidation of the walls, the re-making of wood covers and the restoration of the frescoes.
