  • Categories: Architectural renovation
  • Contracting customar: Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport - Provveditorato Interregional for Public Works Campania – Molise

LOCATION: NAPOLI

Description: The church was built in 1600 and is dedicated to St. Catherine Virgin and Martyr; previously,  in this site, there was only a chapel called Santa Caterenella. The current majestic and harmonious shape of the  church is dated 1713, several interventions have embellished, enriched and lengthened the building; the temple is of eighteenth century taste, a Latin cross, with dunking chapels , while the dome rests on four pointed arches developed on many pillars. The façade is also of eighteenth century taste, but it preludes to neoclassical. The work included the restoration of the external façades and specifically: static consolidations; plaster reconstruction; paintwork.
